Tourist attractions in the surrounding of Badolato are mostly limited by the Calabriens who isn’t good in selling their history, or their present, for that matter.

We have collected the attractions which in our opinion are 'must see'. We skip lightly over the beaches, mountains and nature. That you will find described in the other sections.

And of course there are places like Castella (castle located in the sea), Catanzaro (the provincial capital) and national parks in the mountains (Sila and Aspomonte), those are also excluded here, but maybe they will be included in a future update. The famous and beautiful cities on the West Coast, Silla, Tropea and Pizzo, we haven’t either mentioned. If you arrive outside high season they are all worth a visit, but in July / August, we find it too hot to go to a beautiful city more than one hour's drive away.
